Vortox Pressure Air Cleaners for Truck Blowers

Pressure Only Air Cleaners
Vortox Air Technology’s line of truck blower air cleaners also offers the option of “Pressure Only”. These air cleaners are available in Stainless Steel or Carbon Steel finishes and bottom or side outlet models.

To visibly see the difference between “Pressure Only” and “Pressure/Vac” models on the exterior of the air cleaner, simply look for the rubber stretch latches on the top of the canister. If there are none, you are looking at a “Pressure Only” model. If the rubber latches are visible, you are looking at a “Pressure/Vac” model.

Inlet Caps are designed to prohibit large debris such as leaves and chaff from entering into the air cleaner and clogging the filter element. Inlet Caps are also an effective way of restricting water intake into the filtration system – not to mention that they are corrosion resistant!

Worried about the fit? Don’t be. Although Vortox offers several different styles of Inlet Caps, most of them have a universal design that fits most trucks.

Steel products will last longer than plastic.

Steel has the ability to withstand extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, without sustaining damage. Plastic will crack in cold temperatures and melt in extremely hot temperatures. Additionally, steel is corrosion resistant – no rust!

Steel is more durable than plastic.

Unlike plastic, steel is less likely to break and more easily modified. If it does become damaged, it is usually a dent which can be fixed. Steel products allow the flexibility of customization. There is no need for special mold tooling with steel.

Steel is actually less expensive than plastic.

When you look at the life span and durability of a steel product versus a plastic product of the same nature, steel will always last longer and require less maintenance than plastic. Although a steel product may cost more upfront, it will save you money in the long run.
